The Curonian Spit, the peninsula formed by the sea waves and wind, in the year 2000 was entered into the UNESCO World Heritage List because of its distinctive architecture.

In the administrative Neringa town centre Nida, between Parnidis (Big) dune and the Baltic Sea, near the old gliders` school and stone age settlement of Five Hills, Nida campsite is located. It is only several hundred metres to the snow-white beaches, to the Sundial with the observation deck, to the centre of the settlement. Nida campsite is an ideal place to make a stay where a warm welcome is ensured.
